Mirror – Japanese style, decoupage

This lovely mirror is decorated using decoupage – with a lovely Japanese paper chrysanthemum style design Showing results  rich brown/russet/black tones. The frame is decorated with pearls and beads which started life as a necklace, but rather than discard, the beads are reused here.

The mirror itself is 180mm diameter; the size including frame is 250mm.

This piece is sealed with several coats of sealer and a final spray of acrylic sealer. It’s water resistant, but not waterproof. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
