Remember those placemats that we used to have with a variety of images – old masters, odd garden scenes, the occasional nymph or fairy? They may have been lovely when new, but as they got used more and more, they looked, well, not so great?!
These are those same placemats repurposed and refreshed. Mix and match, with accompanying coaster, and they’re reversible!!
They’re good quality cork placemats, waterproofed with several coats of sealer (but I’d say watertight rather than dishwasher safe, immerse in water waterproof). They’ll stand up to the daily mealtime routine, and will just need a wipe over with a damp cloth to keep them looking great.
Each set of comes with a hand-folded ‘envelope’ that whilst it fits the coaster perfectly, can be use for anything you may want to wrap.
