Description
This gorgeous jug (or vase) has been hand painted using alcohol inks in the most beautiful blues, a hint of red, and gold that has a Japanese feel to it.
It has been finished with a gloss varnish which is used specifically on inks to seal the design. It could be used as a milk or water jug, or you could use it as a vase for fresh or dried flowers.
In theory it is dishwasher safe and I have tested my own mug using same process, and it has been perfectly fine, but personally I wouldn’t recommend anything other than hand washing with regular detergent and a soft sponge (no scourers!). Probably best to not soak for too long, or put in the microwave because gold inks and microwaves don’t play well together!
